Maintenance
Maintenance Safety Precautions for Warehouse Racks
1. Select professional and trustworthy rack suppliers.
2. Before use, pay attention to the usage precautions on the rack nameplates.
3. Prevent overloading: The weight of goods stored on each layer shall not exceed the maximum load-bearing capacity designed for the rack.
4. Prevent overheight and overwidth: The layer height and layer width of the rack are limited; the size of pallets and goods shall be slightly smaller than the net space by 100mm.
5. Prevent collision: Forklifts shall handle goods gently as much as possible during operation.
6. Prevent top-heaviness: Follow the principle of placing light goods on upper layers and heavy goods on lower layers.
7. Do not use non-standard pallets on the racks; pallets with a "cross-shaped" base are the most suitable.
8. When there are goods placed on the upper part of the racks, operators should try not to work directly under the racks.
9. Maintenance of the racks does not require high frequency, but it should be carried out at least once a year.
Proper use and regular maintenance are beneficial to extending the service life of the racks and can help enterprises save a lot of costs.
